Event Details
The Kosciusko County Historical Society is housed in the Old Jail Museum, a Gothic Revival Building built in 1870. The building was a working jail for more than a century. The sheriff and his family lived in the attached residence. Today, the building is home to thousands of historical and nostalgic items from Kosciusko County. Learn about the Old Jail when your tour takes you through the cells and attached catwalk. Then, we'll wonder through the residence to see artifacts related to the lives and industries of Kosciusko County. Meet inside the entrance to the library at 10:45 to walk over to the museum. Registration is required through the library.
